LES is an event space designed by RHO, an interior design studio based in Berlin. The space is located on an industrial campus in the north of Berlin and covers an area of 400 square metres. The venue is versatile and caters for a diverse audience, changing from a campus café during the day to a corporate event venue in the evening.
The design takes inspiration from its industrial surroundings, combining functionality with contemporary materials and forms.
The adaptability of the space is enhanced by a bespoke system of movable walls. Made of aluminium and polycarbonate, these walls allow the space to be divided into three parts, including a restaurant, bar and event area.
RHO worked alongside lighting designer Jannick Naumann and ROOM DIVISION to artfully integrate the lighting into the interior’s architectural elements, establishing a unified setting for any event.
The even ceiling design connects the various spaces, and a flexible lighting system, integrated into the walls, produces an uplifting environment for DJs and performers.
