At the headquarters of Berliner Sparkasse, Susanne Philippson was not only responsible for the selection and design of the interior, but also for the development of a comprehensive wayfinding system and the signposting of rooms and routes. The crowning glory is a fascinating work of light art in the lobby – a masterpiece that combines an impressive pixel system with an integrated news ticker and whose realisation we were delighted to support.
A Masterpiece of Light and Technology
Nearly 5,000 RGBW SPI pixel dots are seamlessly embedded behind a 7 x 3-meter semi-transparent surface material, creating a stunning visual display. The integrated LED ticker brings dynamic, real-time information to life, adding both functionality and flair. Every component was customised and carefully installed to ensure perfection. Control of this captivating light art installation is effortlessly managed via a media PC located at the lobby’s reception desk.
This innovative fusion of design and technology is a true testament to craftsmanship and creativity.
